Association President, Shriram Subramanian and VP Chandra Shekhar Chitrala visited XLRI Jamshedpur as per the request of the Task Force setup by the XIM University Board of Governors to resolve the pending issues, and also to learn about the processes and practices followed by the XLRI Alumni Association that we could adopt. They were accompanied by the Secretary of our Association Prof.Punyaslok Dhall who meticulously coordinated the entire visit.

The trip was very fruitful and we can safely say that most of what they are doing well are already in our MoA and what we want to be done. Interestingly, there are a number of areas where we are actually doing better than them

It should also be mentioned that the hospitality extended to our office bearers was excellent and we are deeply grateful for this. There was also an unexpected bonus when they were able to meet up with our own alumnus, Manish Singhal from the 1994 batch, who is a Professor in the OB area there, who made the time to meet them despite being in the midst of admissions interviews.
